Shocker was a repeat breeding of Bailey and Annie, thus a 100% Anstamm-bred dog. And you could see it! He displayed all the good assets of the Anstamm line, in head and body, being a perfect blend of power and elegance.
Shocker was a sizable boy, with a perfect long head, dead-level top line, deep chest, strong bone, a perfectly set thick tale.
In his short show career, he finished the two possible German Championships in almost the minimum time and the Austrian Champion title, won eight BOB (two over his father), a BIG-Junior (pictured above), one ResBIS (Best Low-Legged Terrier), one Best in Show at a Terrier Special in Stuttgart, and a Group III at the Int Show in Stuttgart. At the World Dog Show 2003 in Dortmund he was placed 4th in Open Class as best German male. In October 2004, he also gained the International and Swiss Champion titles.
His first offspring also came out quite nicely. This includes Uni in our own kennel as well as Downtown Winipeg (out of Downtown Nessie), here pictured at the age of 9 months after winning BOB at the German Scottish Terrier Special 2003 with judge Stuart Plan (UK). Her litter sister Downtown Whitney Houston (o: Mona Riedl) earned the German Bundes Winner title in 2004. Also, his son out of the repeat breeding with Nessie, Mr. Muffin. had a very successful show career.
